JOIN THE DIG DEEPER CHALLENGE!
As the global coronavirus pandemic continues, NGT is inspired to commit ourselves even more deeply to protecting Philadelphia’s community gardens. This moment emphasizes the essential value of neighborhood gardens, which support physical and emotional health and access to fresh, healthy food.
NGT has been challenged to raise $50,000 this fall by a generous donor. The Dig Deeper Challenge will match, dollar for dollar, all new gifts. It will also match all increased gifts by the amount of the increase. Gifts from the match will enable us to acquire new gardens and support current gardens.
“The goal of the matching grant is to put a focus on community gardens, especially at this time and to inspire others to give.” explains Lisa Roberts, Trustee of the Poor Richard’s Charitable Trust.
There are two ways to help meet the Dig Deeper Challenge:
1) Between October 15-28, 100% of all gifts made through our crowdfunding campaign will be matched.
2) All new or increased gifts and pledges made online or by mail before December 31, 2020 will be matched.
